In August 2001 Justin and his wife, Michelle, answered the call on their lives and began their ministry together by founding The Brown Band.  After 6 successful years with The Brown Band and 4 CD’s later, Justin and Michelle realized that a change was due so in January 2008 the name of the band was changed to the Justin Graves Band.

Never missing a beat the JGB recorded an original worship CD in 2008 titled “Heart Open Wide” and in 2009 a cover worship CD titled “Love God. Love Others.” Their original worship CD titled "Live to Love" was released in June 2011. This CD was focused on family worship, taking scriptures and putting them to music that the whole family will enjoy.  In September 2012 the JGB released their "Hymns" CD, an acoustic collection of 16 timeless hymns with a modern feel. The JGB released "Happy to be Me" in April 2014. The songs on this CD were written to encourage, empower and inspire a love for God and others. "Kids Worship vol. 1" was released in 2017 and includes original music written for VBS and children's ministries around the world.

The ministry of the JGB has been expanding over the last several years to include Children and Family ministries. It has been exciting to see where God is leading and how the ministry is growing!  When you experience the Justin Graves Band you can be sure that it will be engaging and exciting. Playing everything from original to current praise and worship favorites to hymns, there is always something for everyone.

After experiencing the Justin Graves Band, the realness of the band, the truth in the music and the hearts of Justin, Michelle and their daughter Gabriella, their prayer is that you will be challenged to live with your HEART OPEN WIDE, worship Him with everything and strive to LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS.
